Notable Features: 
  • Six OD diameters present on the pin.
  • Rolled undercut pin retention feature.
  • Precise chamfers at both ends.
Advantages: 
  • Material waste is minimal.
  • The part is formed from no-lead brass round wire.
  • High surface finish. No machining lines or machining tit present at either end of the part.
  • Normally machined parts are turned from leaded brass material (ie: CDA360). Lead is being discouraged from use world wide and the CDA 260 (unleaded brass) is a type of brass that is easily cold formed and will substitute easily.
  • Production speeds are high allowing for low production costs. Much faster than machining.
  • Concentricity of all diameters is near perfect: TIR approx. .002".
  • Rolled undercut provides a locking feature for retention in plastic.
